Our Bike Trail Communities
The City of Elroy is where the Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail and the 400 State Bike Trail connect. The Elroy Commons welcomes bicyclists each year to the community.
Elroy is also the home of Former WI Governor Tommy Thompson.
Sparta is the Bicycling Capital of America. Not only is the Sparta Depot the official headquarters of the
La Crosse River State Bike Trail but Sparta is also home to our favorite tourist attraction - Ben Biken!
The Village of Kendall is a village was named after L.G. Kendall (or Kendalls), a railroad contractor.
Home of the Elroy-Sparta State Bike Trail Headquarters...the old train depot has a train museum inside as well.
A small picturesque village and farming community located at the headwaters of the Kickapoo River. It is nestled in the valley between tunnels 1 and 2.
Wilton also hosts their annual Wood Turtle Days.
Norwalk is located on the northern edge of the Kickapoo River Valley, in what is known as the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. The only area in State not covered by glaciers during the last Ice Age.
The Village also is home to the annual Rails-to-Trails Marathon, attracting thousands of runners from across the United States.
